The 1994 genocide in Rwanda resulted in the systematic massacre of 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus in less than 100 days. The events occurred while the international community closed its eyes.

The purpose of this site is to centralize access to a collection of high-quality information resources on the Rwandan genocide that shed a thorough light on the genocide, from its design to its enduring fallout in today's Rwanda.

empty chair Now is a better time than ever to help. Other tragic events in the past years have occulted the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide in the public eye and the level of support to the victims has dropped considerably.

Twenty years do not erase the stigma of mass murder. Rememberance and support are still essential.
